October 19
If you are an online casino
player that likes to check out
the TV shows regarding casinos
and tournaments, you know that
you have a bunch to choose from
just about any night of the
week. Well, you are about to
have one more to chose from
starting Friday October 21. This
one has a different appeal to it
as well.
After
losing over $3 million during the
years of 1997 through 1999 to
Vegas casinos, 35 year old Daren Leverenz
is back to stake his claim on
Vegas. This time with a new
reality show that will showcase
random people playing with his
money in order to win. The
people chosen by him that play
with his money will earn a share
of the profits if they win. If
they lose - well, they don't
lose their money they lose his.
The show, Man
Vs. Vegas, which premiers
Friday at 10PM on CMT.
The show will contain 8
different episodes geared
towards winning his money back.
Don't feel too bad for his
previous loss, he has since
recouped his financial status in
the dot.com industry and he is
in investing it in the new show.
In the
TV series Leverenz selects
tourists unsystematically and
gives them thousands of dollars
to play with.
Leverenz
started his
passion for casino gambling when
he risked $2,000
on a past birthday in Vegas and
turned it into $180,000. Things
got a bit tedious when he lost a staggering
$250,000 in on day at the Bellagio grand opening.
The
new show was filmed at the Plaza
and Aladdin casinos in Vegas. We will be
watching as many online casinos
players will be, too.
